Empowering Chinese Brands to Expand and Localise in the French Market

On 26 June 2025, the “China–France E-Commerce Private Roundtable”, hosted by ECTIME Group (ECENTIME App), was successfully held at the Grande Arche in La Défense. The summit focused on facilitating cross-border e-commerce collaboration and offering practical strategies for Chinese brands to enter and scale in the French market.

As the organiser, ECENTIME leveraged its strengths in platform operations, brand partnerships, and local content marketing to bring together a professional audience comprising platform executives, brand decision-makers, service providers, and Chinese entrepreneurs based in France. The event provided a high-level platform for strategic exchange and practical insights.

The session was opened by Yangke Sun, Founder and CEO of ECENTIME, who shared how the platform supports Chinese brands through an integrated approach of "Platform + Content + Network", helping brands understand, engage, and convert local users in Europe.

Featured Guest Speakers

Thierry Jin (Country General Manager, OPPO France) offered a detailed walkthrough of OPPO’s localisation strategy in France, sharing valuable experience in product selection, team structuring, channel building, and brand storytelling.

Carina & Cara (Sales Directors, MAIN PAPER France), two veteran female entrepreneurs, provided a grounded perspective on market entry challenges and overlooked aspects of operating in France — from logistics to sales execution and consumer communication.

Facilitating Connection and Collaboration

Beyond formal sharing, the event allowed ample time for in-person exchange, where participants were able to engage with guest speakers directly, ask questions, and receive tailored advice. Attendees also connected with one another across the value chain, facilitating new partnerships and resource matching in a highly efficient setting.

Participants described the event as “tactically insightful and strategically valuable”, offering actionable knowledge far beyond typical trend reports. The format enabled deep, candid dialogue on the real challenges and opportunities of internationalisation.

The success of this summit reflects ECENTIME’s growing role as a cross-border ecosystem enabler and a strategic partner for Chinese brands seeking growth in Europe. Moving forward, ECENTIME will continue to leverage its content, community, and service capabilities to support sustainable brand expansion and bilateral business collaboration.
