"Belt and Road" Postdoctoral Innovation Meet in Paris

The “Belt and Road” Paris Promotion Conference Successfully Held — Advancing the 3rd National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition on the International Stage

In June 2025, the Paris Promotion Conference for the 3rd National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held in France. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Fujian Province, and organised by the Office of the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Fujian Province, and the People’s Government of Quanzhou. The executive organisers were Jinjiang New Silk Road Education Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Sci-Tech Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd.

As the local organiser of the Paris session, our company was honoured to contribute to the success of this international event, working in close collaboration with all organising bodies to foster a high-level platform for talent exchange, innovation collaboration, and cross-border resource integration between China and Europe, under the Belt and Road framework.

The event attracted wide participation from Chinese and French government representatives, research institutions, innovative enterprises, investment firms, and postdoctoral talent. Comprehensive briefings were given on the structure of the competition, participation mechanisms, and supporting policies, with a strong invitation extended to European — particularly French — talents and projects to engage in the initiative.

Distinguished speakers from both countries shared in-depth insights on postdoctoral policies, innovation ecosystems, and international collaboration pathways. As the organiser in Paris, we not only provided logistical and operational support but also actively built bridges between French innovation players and Chinese institutional platforms.

The successful execution of this promotion conference marks a significant step in the international expansion of the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, signalling a new stage of China–Europe scientific and technological cooperation. Looking ahead, we will continue to follow the progress of the competition and remain committed to facilitating the landing of high-quality projects and talent exchanges between China and France, paving the way for mutually beneficial collaboration.
